System Requirements

The BiosenseSignal Web SDK provides support for Android smartphones and tablets, as well as iPhones and iPads. The SDK may operate on additional devices or browsers; however, these are not officially supported. For clarification regarding compatibility, please contact the support team.

The requirements below must be met in order to support the calculation of vital signs using the SDK.

System Requirements - Android

The following device requirements must be met in order to use the BiosenseSignal Framework in your Android application:

Benchmark Performance Verification

Based on the Geekbench 6 single-core results from https://browser.geekbench.com/android-benchmarks, it is recommended to use a device with a benchmark score of 500 or higher. Devices with a score of 300 or higher are supported.

RAM

The device must have at least 3GB of RAM.

Camera

FPS

The camera must support 15 FPS (frames per second) imaging.

Image Size

The camera must allow an image output size of 640x480 pixels.

Browser

BiosenseSignal SDK supports Chrome version 113 or later.

System Requirements - iOS

The following device requirements must be met in order to use the BiosenseSignal SDK in your iOS application:

iOS Operating System Version

Running the BiosenseSignal SDK requires iOS 16.7 or later. Some indicators might require a higher version of iOS. For additional information regarding the supported indicators see the Indicators Technical Information page.

Safari Browser Version

Running the BiosenseSignal SDK requires iOS 16.6 or later.

iPhone Devices

The list of iPhone devices compatible with the BiosenseSignal SDK includes iPhone XS and all subsequent iPhone models.

iPad Devices

The list of iPad devices compatible with the BiosenseSignal SDK includes iPad (6th generation) and all subsequent models, including the iPad Mini and iPad Pro families.

Camera

The BiosenseSignal SDK requires access to the device's camera in order to perform its functions.
